I love plans. By that I mean I love having something to look forward to, dates to keep in mind.
The above is obviously a huge one but it doesn't have to be big for me. I am pleased as punch to think that it's the horse racing at Chepstow next week and I'm going!
And the week after that, I'll be meeting little miss
wreckplunderer and we'll be sight-seeing and acting like tourists in a place I've lived for nearly 20 years! I love it. Honest to god, it doesn't really take much to please me.
Like the fact I stood in Boots and painted all my nails different colours with my mum this morning! I don't know why this amuses me to have different shades or pink on my nails but it does!

And now I've seen it, I'm very, very glad you get your week off! I'll be arriving on the 3rd or 4th, and I'll be sure to let you know beforehand so we can see where we'll meet and everything. I'm going to email you my phone number and everything, apparently it will indeed carry on working across the pond. I'm still getting a local SIM card thingy for my other phone though, so we can talk for less than two quid a minute! EEEEEEEEEEE, I'm flying Monday!

Date: 2009-07-25 12:35 pm (UTC)In any case, my apologies for my absense, I've been working and then having social functions afterwards most days last week. For instance, yesterday I went to Chepstow Races with work. I actually made a profit of £15 which I was well happy with.
I have several old sim cards if you want one to borrow but we do need to chat about where to meet.
I'm ever so excited too and I hope that you've nearly packed! Monday will come very quickly and I'll think of you when I'm at work bored!
I'm hoping the weather stays like it is right now for you, it's sunny with a few little wisps of cloud and it's warm at 20 degrees. Which isn't too hot. Although you will probably enjoy the rain and bouncing about in any weather!
